Your tax-deductible donation helps MIMS outfit their runners with much-needed gear, cover race entry fees for people running their very first 5K, and more.

MIMS Mission in :30

Our teams of Resident Members (people experiencing homelessness, exiting incarceration, in recovery and transitioning post-military service) and volunteer Run Mentors have run thousands of miles side by side, completing races from one mile to a marathon(!) in pursuit of our vision: using the power of running to bring together people from diverse backgrounds to build connections, boost wellness, spark social change, and center people traditionally excluded from running spaces.

UESCA + Free to Run

Empowerment through Running

How Does UESCA Help?

UESCA has partnered with Free to Run to provide scholarships to key Free to Run coaches, ensuring they are equipped and qualified to coach and run community run programs.

How Can You Help?

Donations to Free to Run can be made in any currency. When you give to Free to Run, you’re helping to advance gender equity globally through running.

Free to Run

Free to Run uses outdoor sports to develop girls’ and young women’s leadership and wellness, and address gender inequity in areas of conflict.

Founded in 2014, Free to Run works in some of the world’s most challenging regions – conflict areas where young women and girls are disproportionately affected and restrictions to their rights are often overlooked.
