While I have done all distances under the sun, 5k, 10K, Half and full marathons, 6 hr., 12 hr., 50,100,200,240 mile runs, I primarily participate in 100 mile trail runs. I use races as an excuse to travel. I have run in multiple states as well as South Africa for the UTCT 100 mile in 2024. I am looking forward to my travel this year to Montana as well as Australia, both for 100 mile races. I have met a lot of great people and shared a lot of stories along the way. I also work full time as a race timer, so my life is completely in the endurance world.
The work you put into your training is what dictates your results. I try to make plans for a flexible training/life balance, but I know that a successful training schedule will demand sacrifices.
I have helped coach friends from finishing their first marathon, to multiple PR's to BQ status and running Boston as well as winning local 5k races.
My goals are to get people to start their running journey or to help them upgrade to longer distances. Running is so much more than just getting feet on the ground. It takes mental training, strength training, diet/lifestyle changes. Running has changed my life for the better and I want to help those that chose to do the same.
