John made the decision 10+ years ago to transition from working in a corporate setting to following his passion of fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
An accomplished marathoner, runner and triathlete, he is a five time Boston Marathon finisher and two time 70.3mi triathlon finisher with certifications from NASM and Revolution Running and also holds a BA in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley.
His focus is in functional training and running performance for endurance sports athletes.

We GET to do this! I truly believe that there is an inner athlete in all of us. We can do hard and amazing things!
I'm not a hammer, hammer, hammer type of coach. Consistency over perfection!
I'm big on finding that balance of training for a race and still maintaining a life outside of endurance sports.
I'm also big on no junk training and recovery efforts!
