Sport has been a major part of my life for more than 15 years, from competitive cross-country skiing to running, cycling, and endurance racing. That experience strongly shapes the way I coach today. I combine it with my education in physical education and UESCA training in running, endurance nutrition, and coaching pregnant and postpartum athletes. I enjoy working with different runners and finding an approach that makes sense for the person in front of me - their goals, experience, schedule, and life.
I believe good coaching is not about following a perfect plan - it’s about understanding the person behind it. Training should challenge you, but it should also make sense within your life.
I value consistency over perfection, clear communication, and knowing why we are doing each session. I use training data, but I also pay close attention to how an athlete feels, recovers, and responds to the work.
My role as a coach is not simply to prescribe workouts. It’s to help you make better decisions, understand your body, and become a stronger, more independent runner over time.
