At school I was part of the cross-country team and the ’sports’ crowd. I didn’t enjoy the running aspect as much as getting muddy!

I went on to study outdoor adventure at college, spending more time out than in the classroom. Not knowing what to do after college, I continued studying outdoor adventure at Worcester University. I am currently training to run my first 200-mile race, Wild Horse 200. In my spare time, I volunteer for the local search and rescue team.

I want to show people that it's not all about getting PB's. Whilst the programs I design will result in that, the objective is to become adventureproof. It's not just about our physical performance. We can make large jumps in our outcomes if we connect more to nature and the environment we place ourselves in. Learning skills to make moving in the mountains easier will create less stress and more play.
