I started my career in Interior Design and followed my calling to coaching. I’m a mom of 2 very active kids who are equally passionate about their sports. If I’m not carpooling, watching a ballet performance or cheering at a baseball game, I’m running. I love being outdoors surrounded by nature. I like to hike, bike, kayak and paddle board. I crave a good hot yoga class too! I’m an animal lover. I have a lop-eared bunny and a Bernadoodle dog (my self proclaimed emotional support pet) who loves to ride in my backpack biking. My family and I are avid travelers and love to explore the world!
I believe coaching isn’t a one size fits all approach. Every athlete is unique and therefore needs a personalized approach to training. It is my job to customize a program based on many factors including your current fitness, future goals and life commitments, then make it an enjoyable process from beginning to end. Training is ever evolving and adjusts based on life. Work, travel, sickness and injury will often disrupt a plan and I am here to pivot the programming. I believe coaches should always be accessible. Open communication allows for a more personalized approach. Lastly, training the body should also include the mind. Sports Psychology is a sub specialty I am always researching and training my athletes. The mind and body connection is one of the most important tools for success.
