I am a full-time working mom who knows the discipline it takes to train for big races. I am a trail running enthusiast. I enjoy coordinating community runs, helping to pace friends and athletes in their races, and volunteering with aspiring youth runners.
I believe in flexibility and discipline. As a running mom myself I do not want my training to take time away from my family which means that training needs to be flexible. Goal setting is also important, and one must be disciplined in going after their goal. As a coach, I can construct a plan and be flexible but it is up to the athlete to set realistic goals and put in the work. I also strive for injury prevention meaning that doing the work outside of putting in the miles is really important.
I want to help people discover all of the joys that running has to offer! It helps so much with mental health and as a mom, taking the load off of you for just a moment in the day where all you need to do is focus on putting one foot in front of the other!
