My goal is to light the path for you to realize your personal goals, remain injury free, build your community and find the joy in running. There are seasons of crushing big scary hairy goals, and there are seasons to rest or rebuild. I am here for all of it.
Whether you are middle-of-the-pack, a caboose (last finisher), or a total novice, I've been there. In my own running journey, I'm rebuilding after a few great years with big (for me) miles, and a lot of personal bests. For me, running is fun. It is a respite from the day-to-day, and it is the space where I've built my community.
I am a UESCA certified running coach, which provides a framework for scienced-based training program delivery. I am interested in a whole-person approach, because we are not just runners. My coaching philosophy is based on the belief that every individual has the power to achieve their goals and create a life they love. I work with clients to identify their strengths, create a dynamic plan of action to achieve their desired outcomes, and help them build confidence in their abilities. My approach is to build slowly and to emphasize rest, cross-training, and core/stability work as much or more-so than building volume.
We all benefit from having coaches and mentors in areas of our lives. I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
