About Matthew
A little more about my running background, I started running shortly after my father passed away in September of 2021, as a way of coping with his loss. Originally sticking to road running and taking part of a handful of road races, from 10km all the way up to marathons. I then found the sport of trial running and ultramarathon running.
In 2023 I competed in my first Ultramarathons, a 50km with close to 2000m of elevation, and a 50m with close to 4500m of elevation.
So far in 2024, I have competed in one 50km Ultramarathon, placing 70th, out of 400 runners, with many more races to come!
