My sporting background started out in triathlon, competing in distances ranging from sprint to the prestigous Embrun Ironman in the French Alps. then graduating more into the off-road scene of ultra & trail running, fell racing, mountain marathons, adventure racing, MTB & cyclo cross.

I am most inspired by mountainous environments, whether it's the Scottish Highlands or the high alps. I have competed in ultras at various distances, with racing experience in several countries including France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland & Spain.

I like to have an open mind engaged in continual learning to keep expanding my knowledge and experience. Throughout my sporting endeavors I have probably made all the classic mistakes, finding out what works well & what doesn't. I have also had the privelege to train & race with many inspiring people. The focus now is to utilize this wealth of experience on helping others achieve their goals in the outdoors.
