I have always been an off and on runner, but fully committed to the sport in March of 2020. Like many others, I used running as a way to reduce stress and still feel connected to my community during the pandemic. I created Mt. Hilly Runners as a way to bring people together. I fell in love with the endurance part of running and completed my first marathon in the Fall of 2020, but still feeling I could cover more ground. I have now completed 2 Ultramarathons, and I look forward to challenging myself with more in the future.
I am an upbeat and positive coach. I am incredibly inspired by my athletes and their achievements. I prefer to coach using positive reinforcement, but I can also be more tough if that style is needed. I utilize many types of training plans, and I look for ways to individualize the plans to the athlete's needs.
